IPSC on Tuesday evenings and Saturday afternoons on range 8A is gaining more and more popularity with some matches having in excess of 25 competitors. As a result it has been decided to change the format of the match to provide as much range time as possible per competitor. Range 8A will consist of two medium courses of fire being shot by two individual squads. Once a competitor in squad A has finished stage 1, Stage 2 will be shot by another competitor in squad B. Both stages will be scored and restored simultaneously to speed up the match. This has been trialled over the last fortnight with better results each time. Once connectivity issues between scoring tablets has been resolved, a consolidated score can be produced. Tuesday evening matches will commence from 630pm sharp. To maintain the quality of these matches, we urge that members wishing to attend be willing to help setup, patch and pull down the stages instead or relying on a select few.
